Biosca
The town of Biosca is located at the foot of a hill to the right of the stream of Biosca. At the entrance we find buildings and modern farms, and once past the bridge, you enter the ancient site that was formerly protected the walls coming down the castle. Biosca Castle is located on top of the village, built on the rock and dilapidated.
Next to the castle are the remains of the former castle chapel, dedicated to St. Mary, and Romanesque. The apse is semicircular, with Lombard arches and paired beautiful, which was sobrealzado. It retains the original tower, probably the twelfth century. Subsequently a Gothic chapels were added at noon and was dedicated to San Abdón and San Senen.
The church square is the main center of town, and is surrounded by covered alleys with vaulted places on the street and houses that retain their medieval style.
Biosca is well built up. The running water in the houses was installed in 1970.
Notably Lloberola village, guarding the ruins of the old castle and the church of San Miguel at their feet, renovated in a Neoclassical style. The population keeps some ancient sarcophagi belonging to the family Sacicera Cervera del s. XIV.
