Family gold panning in Balaguer

The Segre Gold Interpretation Centre is extending its visiting hours this Easter with the Family Gold Search activity, a unique, exciting and very fun experience that invites visitors, both young and old, to experience the adventure of the Segre River gold seekers for a while.

Lasting approximately one hour, visitors will take a guided tour of the exhibition space to learn about the history of gold mining in the Segre River, followed by a gold panning workshop in the panning area. At the end, everyone will be able to take home the gold straws found during the activity in a small plastic vial as a souvenir of their visit.

Visits will take place from April 14 to 20 at 11:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., with prior reservation through the Museo de la Noguera website www.museucn.com.
