Arrival of the Charcoal Burners and the Bonfire of the Innocents in Balaguer

On Friday night, December 27, the Arrival of the Charcoal Burners and the Bonfire of the Innocents will be celebrated in the Plaza del Mercadal.

The event will feature the Bandelpal percussion group and the Diablos Bestias Feréstegues. This year, the Carboneros will also be joining the event, who will be in charge of distributing coal among the children.

After the bonfire is lit, a popular dinner will be held in collaboration with nearby bars and restaurants. Anyone who wishes to do so can bring their own grills to cook meat using the embers of the bonfire.
