Guided tour of the old town and ride on the Llaüt lo Roget in Ascó
You will enter the streets of our town, narrow, winding, with zigzags, where you will be able to discover that Moorish past that makes the old town charming.
- The closed town, the poles, the vaults and silos (old Muslim granaries).
- The Sequerets.
- The snow well (true gem, built with crushed stone).
- Calle de la Mola, from where you can contemplate the captivating views over the Ebro River, the Islands and the neighboring towns.
- The church, with its three well-defined styles.
- Cal Cavaller, ancestral home of the Salvador family.
A complete heritage complex that will surely not leave you indifferent.
To finish, walk with the Llaüt Lo Roget to the Pas de l'Ase, the narrowest pass of the Catalan Ebro. The Llaüt Lo Roget has an aesthetic similar to those that sailed down the river. Navigation becomes the common thread that takes tourists back to the time when llaüts and "llaüters" were part of the river's usual landscape.
Do not miss it!
