Delve into our beautiful town, a jewel of nature that supports a considerable millenarian cultural tradition. Bearer of the Sierra Larga, the municipality looks towards the Plana de Lleida, while welcoming the Pre-Pyrenees, a suggestive orographic combination that we invite you to visit.

The term of Algerri is divided into two areas that are visually opposed: in the southern slope the irrigated and dry land cultivated fields predominate, while in the northern one it is characterized by an exuberant nature combined with dry farming fields. These areas are joined by several steps that cross the Sierra Larga, such as the suggestive path of La Garriga.

The biodiversity of rainfed spaces is well visible in Algerri. In the course of the Sierra Larga gipsícolas plants and others own the arid areas, besides, to host fauna typical of the steppe areas, highlighting the birds. This landscape reality meets the basins, humid areas similar to small oases of greenery. The river Noguera Ribagorzana, traces a tangent of greenery and fertile lands, therefore, in its vicinity rises a lush riverside forest that alternates with the fruit of the potholes.
