Slow Bike Route - Penedès 360
The Penedès plain is ideal to discover by bicycle, without haste.
This is what the Slow Bike Route - Penedès 360 (162 km) proposes, a circular itinerary of four stages that does not present great difficulties!
If we talk about the Penedès, it is clear that the vineyards are present in many moments of the journey, but you will also find castles, hermitages, monasteries, small towns, farmhouses or dry stone buildings.
The 4 stages are:
- Vilafranca del Penedès * - Sant Jaume dels Domenys: Route: 39 km Accumulated difference in altitude: 300 m Estimated time: 4 - 5 h **
- Sant Jaume dels Domenys - Torrelles de Foix: Route: 35 km Accumulated elevation gain: 500 m Estimated time: 5-6 h
- Torrelles de Foix - Sant Sadurní d'Anoia: Route: 49 km Accumulated difference in altitude: 500 m Estimated time: 5-6 h
- Sant Sadurní d'Anoia - Vilafranca del Penedès: Route: 39 km Accumulated difference in altitude: 600 m Estimated time: 5-6 h

ALSO FOR BTT LOVERS
The Slow Bike Route has a "premium" in the same region, the BTT - Penedès 360 Route, in this case more technical, for people with minimal preparation, and which climbs the Penedès mountains.
The itinerary is planned to be done in 3, 4 or 5 days, and in the latter case the total route is 281 km, with an accumulated unevenness of 7,000 m. The sections make "incursions" in the Garraf region and reach coastal towns such as Sitges.
WALKING AMONG VINEYARDS
If the two wheels are not just your favorite transport system and you prefer to walk, in the Penedès you will also find a circular route that, along 8 stages, will allow you to get to know the region of the vineyards in depth. It is of medium difficulty, since we are talking about a total route of 151 km with an accumulated unevenness of 4,000 m.
Depart from Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, and you will pass through towns such as Sant Pau d'Ordal, Banyeres del Penedès, Sant Martí Sarroca or Sant Quintí de Mediona. Don't forget to visit one of the many wineries that open their doors to visitors!
