3 routes near the Ter
The Camino along the Ter is a long-distance path, the GR 210, which follows the course of this river as it passes through the Osona region. A proposal of 3 stages, somewhat long but without any difficulty, which allows the visit to the centers of Montesquiu, Torelló, Roda de Ter and Manlleu. The road passes through natural resources of great interest such as the Gelabert meanders and industrial colonies that explain how the river has also marked the industrial and human development of the region.
1. From the Farga de Bebié in Torelló
Stage that begins in the Farga de Bebié and follows the meanders of the river to Torelló, a proposed 4-hour walk without much unevenness that passes through Sant Quirze de Besora.
2. From Torello to Manlleu
Ideal stage if you like to observe birds, and if you are interested in knowing more about the landscape and the places where you pass, do not miss the pedagogical itinerary of the meander of the Gambires and do not forget to visit the Museum of the Ter. The stage lasts 5 hours but the road is very pleasant.
3. From Manlleu to Sau
Last stage to the Sau reservoir with excellent panoramic views. You have to be used to walking because it is more than 6 hours on the road, but the effort is compensated with the views of Tavertet or the optional visit to Sant Pere de Casserres.
