The Pedra-Rock Music Festival is here for another year!
On August 11, the third edition of the Pedra-Rock Festival will be held, this time in a rock marathon format with six bands from 11 in the morning until 1 in the morning. The groups that will perform are Viento Celeste, Pataliebre, SilverFeet, Falcon & Firkin, The Foxholes, We are Mono and Eva Fort.
The event will take place in the Cal Franciscó Hotel era, with completely free access. The organization will offer bar service, popular frying pan and barbecue for dinner. In addition, there will be free parking in the municipal parking area.
Gósol is known for the Pedraforca and for being the place where, in the summer of 1906, Picasso spent some time with his first stable partner, Fernande Olivier. During that time, Picasso painted more than 300 works. Currently, you can visit the Picasso Center in the town, a highly recommended visit.
As a novelty, this year, apart from concerts there will be:
- Musical-themed activities and workshops focused on entertaining the whole family.
- Craft stalls in the Cadí area where you will find sculpture, painting, clothing, jewelry and also sausages, cheeses and liquors. 25 artisans have registered. This activity is organized with Vall Activa.

Pedra Rock is firmly committed to amateur musicians. The purposes of the Pedra Rock Association, born as a result of the economic difficulties that musicians suffered during the pandemic, are:
Musical field
- Offer amateur or non-professional musicians spaces in which to show their music and be recognized for their efforts, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, culture, beliefs or technical or personal limitations.
- Motivate new generations towards music, especially rock and roll in all its variants.
- Promote fraternity between the community of musicians and students, transmitting knowledge for the sustainability of the groups over time.
LOCAL scope
- Share a natural space through a musical experience.
- Boost local trade and crafts in the mountain towns of Berguedà, Solsonès and Alt Urgell (Cadí).
- Make known the natural environments of Cadí, as well as its towns, landscapes, resources, gastronomy and people.
Social ambit
- Enjoy live music with respect for everyone but with freedom of expression.
- Spread the Catalan language and culture through music, paying special attention to music sung in Catalan, regardless of the dialect variant.
Currently, in addition to the six founders of the association, the festival has the support of various local entities and companies, such as Figols Natur, Ferreteria Sistach, Berguedà Telecom, Comercial Peralbà, Materials Casserres, Saldes Service Station, the Popular Walk of Gósol, Llomac Berga, Serviobres Queralt, Hotel Cal Franciscó, the Gósol City Council, the Lleida Provincial Council and the Ilerdencs Studies Center.
