Winter Festival (Candelaria Festival) of Castelló d'Empúries
Once again, Castelló d'Empúries celebrates the Candelaria Festival, the municipality's Winter Festival, one of the most traditional festivals in the municipality that has a very complete program of events and activities designed to make all audiences enjoy.
This year's programming will have the active participation of many of the municipal entities that, together with the City Council, have prepared a very complete winter festival that will fill the agenda for the first weekend of February.
The most important characteristic of Candelaria is the diversity in the programming that will allow all audiences to enjoy the festival: concerts, sardanas, popular lunch, conferences, chocolate, delivery of the Espiga and Timó (the institutional act that recognizes the trajectory of the inhabitants of Castelló d'Empúries) , the Puntaires Meeting and the Butifarra championship, etc.
The return of the Playback is one of the most anticipated activities that will allow us to pay tribute to the playbacks of the 80s and 90s that had so much fortune in the town.
