Wine and Harvest Festival in the Old Style - Poboleda

Once again, the long-awaited Wine and Harvest Festival arrives in La Antigua, Poboleda!

From early morning, the festival will recreate some of the tasks that were traditionally part of the grape harvest. Participants will be able to see the arrival of carts and animals, learn about fieldwork techniques, and discover how grapes were once trodden by foot. It's a direct and hands-on way to learn about the tools, processes, and customs that have shaped the agricultural life of the region for generations.

Wine will be another major attraction. Several wineries from the Priorat DOQ will open tasting areas in different parts of the village, offering the opportunity to discover a wide variety of wines and learn about some of the region's most representative wines.

The day will also feature a craft and food market, family activities, live music, and various areas to relax and soak up the atmosphere. There will also be street food, vermouth, al fresco dining, and activities that will continue well into the night.

Fire, music and festivities will bring to a close a celebration that combines agricultural heritage and gastronomy with a particularly lively atmosphere in the streets of Poboleda.

An ideal opportunity to discover Priorat from its roots, taste its wines and understand how the harvest is still much more than a harvest: it is an essential part of the history and identity of the territory.
