BIO Berguedà Week

The Bio Week for organic food is an event in which a whole set of activities are held with the common objective of promoting and raising awareness of organic production and food among the population of Berguedà.

The activity program is very varied, and for anyone interested in learning about organic production and food!

The activities that make up the Bio Week program for organic food are grouped into 5 families:

• Visits: producers and processors of organic products offer visits to their farms and facilities/workshops, where you can learn about their work and what they are and how the products they produce or make are obtained.
• Commercial activities: shops and points of sale of organic products will offer activities related to their products within the framework of their establishment, such as presentations, promotions, tastings and others.
• Gastronomy and restaurants: to learn about organic food, there is nothing better than consuming it directly in a restaurant or as a result of a gastronomic activity, such as a cooking workshop or show cooking.
• Dissemination activities: virtual proposals designed to publicize the organic production system and quality of these foods, as well as any other related topic. We can find workshops, conferences, spaces dedicated to ecological production in libraries, screenings of documentaries, etc.
• Activities at school: Bio Week at school is the annual celebration of organic production and food in the centers and educational community of Catalonia.
