Alhambra Jazz Festival Vic

Vic will once again become, for another year, the center of avant-garde jazz!

The Alhambra Jazz Festival Vic, is   an event born in 1999, linked to the Vic Bang Jazz Cava cultural entity and its venue, La Jazz Cava de Vic, a space that was launched in 1993 to schedule jazz concerts throughout the year.

This is where the first edition of the festival arose, with the aim of offering an x-ray of the jazz scene through outstanding groups and artists from the Catalan scene. Starting in 2003, the festival evolved towards a more daring, unique and innovative proposal around newly created jazz and new trends in improvised music and, since then, this line has become a house brand.

For two weeks, great names from the national, international and Spanish jazz scene will pass through Vic with risky proposals that go beyond stylistic limits.

A sample of the enormous international creative talent, of the country and, also, of local artists, linked in some way with La Jazz Cava, a stage that has reached out to them at the beginning and has accompanied them in their musical career.
