Tiurana Storytelling Festival
The Tiurana Storytelling Festival held its first edition in 2010 thanks to the initiative and organization of the Tiurana City Council and the brothers Germán and Mertxe from the Lleida publishing house in Paris. It consists of interpreting stories on the street and in the most emblematic places of the town, such as the 'Foc del pelegrí' or the Plaza de la Ermita de Solés. Thus, culture and literature are brought closer to residents and tourists in the area, seeking a family audience and projecting Tiurana as a tourist, family, recreational and cultural destination.
In addition to the theatrical storytelling performances, the Festival offers other complementary activities, such as craft and book and story stops, exhibitions, workshops and literary presentations.
The Festival was held on variable dates, but currently takes place on the third weekend in August.
