Theoretical and practical course on dry stone in Torrebesses
Take part in this free course where you will be able to discover the traditional dry stone construction technique, the tools used for building margins and learn how to reconstruct a margin. The activity will take place on Saturday 30th November at the Torrebesses Dry Stone Interpretation Centre.
From 9:00 to 10:00 a.m. there will be a presentation of the day, and from 10:00 to 3:00 p.m. there will be a practical session on margin reconstruction.
The course is taught by the Gremio de Margers de Catalunya and is part of the Dry Stone Week, an initiative that highlights this technique declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO.
