The Pastorets are a Christmas theatrical performance that tells the story of the birth of Jesus with a touch of comedy and fantasy. The Pastorets traditionally include characters such as shepherds, angels, demons and other mythical figures that accompany the birth of Jesus. The plot is usually a fight between good and evil, with demons trying to prevent the shepherds from finding the Baby Jesus.
