The Viladrau Witches' Dance
Viladrau was the town in Catalonia where the most witches were executed!
Since 1997, and within the events of the Viladrau Chestnut Fair, on October 31, All Saints' Night has just begun, Viladrau commemorates one of its most tragic historical episodes: The Persecution of the Witches.
I tell the tradition that it all began at a Witches' Meeting held in Sant Segimon on the night of All Saints in the year 1617. Centuries later, today, everything continues right in the middle of the municipality.
A theatrical show of music, dance, light and fire that we are sure will impress you.
