Roman sunsets in Guissona

Since 2003, during the third week of July, the sunsets in the town of Guissona are filled with cultural activities.

The Roman Sunsets is a program of cultural and recreational events, focused on Roman times, which take place during the week prior to the Guissona Roman Market. On this designated date the town and its villagers are transported to their Roman past, at the end of the 1st century BC.

The proposals begin in the middle of the afternoon with children's activities, from parades with the giants dressed in Roman times to workshops for the little ones.

And at night cultural activities take place: theatre, music, cinema and the historical reconstruction of a Roman dinner take place during the week giving rise to the closing show of the sunsets in the Roman street and which becomes the pistol shot of Exit in the Roman Market that is celebrated on Saturday.
