Sung and danced by Caramelles in Solsona
On Easter Sunday and Monday Solsona is faithful to the spring songs par excellence of Catalan popular culture.
The Orfeó Nova Solsona and the Esplai Riallera revive the most celebrated tradition for Easter with the songs of Caramelles. On Sunday, as always, popular melodies spread through the streets and squares and on Monday, they are sent to Vinyet farmhouses.
On Sunday the singers from the Orfeó Nova Solsona and the Esplai Riallera will tour the streets and squares of the urban area, together with the Cobla Juvenil Ciudad de Solsona, the esbart dansaire also sings the bird and the Trabucaires of Solsona. The next day, the little ones will bring the tradition to some farmhouses in Vinyet.
