Meeting of the sardana of the Pyrenees in Ribes de Freser
In 1973, a group of young people wanting to participate in the life of the town organized the first Aplec de la Sardana in Ribes de Freser.
The meeting brings together sardana fans and sardana lovers from all over Catalonia and other nearby regions, especially from the Pyrenees. The Aplec de la Sardana del Pirineo in Ribes de Freser is a special occasion to enjoy traditional Catalan culture, music and dance, and also to foster a spirit of unity among the attendees.
The party is organized by the Amics de la Sardana de Ribes de Freser Association, with the collaboration of the City Council and other entities.
