Solidarity Day of La Marató de TV3 in Maçanet de Cabrenys

Maçanet de Cabrenys will once again demonstrate its participatory and committed spirit with a new Solidarity Day benefiting La Marató de TV3, dedicated this year to cancer research. This event, designed for all ages, combines physical activity, gastronomy, community spirit, and a strong sense of community.

The day will begin at 9:30 a.m. with a fun walk and ascent to El Pesebre, a 5 km route with a 172 m elevation gain, organized by the CEM. This activity is suitable for children and adults who wish to enjoy the natural surroundings of the municipality. Afterwards, all participants can share a sausage barbecue, a perfect opportunity to recharge and reconnect with neighbors and friends.

In the afternoon, the activities move to Plaça de la Vila, where at 4:30 p.m. a hot chocolate and pastry session will be offered, organized by the senior citizens' group. This space is designed so that everyone can rediscover the warm and festive atmosphere of Christmas.

The day will conclude with a raffle organized by CATAU, which will raise more funds for the charity cause.

All proceeds from the activities will go entirely to La Marató de TV3. Registration for the walk can be done at the Town Hall, the Jaume II Bakery, or the Carme Self-Service store.

A day full of energy, solidarity and community that invites everyone to participate and contribute their bit to a collective cause.
