Saint George's Day in Lliçà d'Amunt
The Lliçà d'Amunt City Council and the Ateneu l'Aliança have organized a day full of cultural activities to celebrate the Sant Jordi festival, in collaboration with other local organizations.
Don't miss the Sant Jordi Fair, with book and rose stalls, craft shows, and creative workshops for young and old. Enjoy the dragon-building workshop, children's shows, sardana dances, concerts, and much more. Join the dragon on its tour of the town, participate in the parade, and experience the unique Burning of the Dragon. On Sunday, the festivities continue with a communal breakfast and the traditional Ballada de la Roda. A celebration that unites culture, festivities, and community to honor the legend of Sant Jordi like never before.
Sant Jordi is one of the most beloved and favorite traditions of Catalans. What a beautiful tradition we have in Catalonia!
