Sanr Jordi in Creixell
Creixell celebrates Sant Jordi with a lot of events!
There will be a reading of educational stories and there will also be a musical performance by Alba Bermúdez, in the two residences for the Elderly in Creixell.
It is one of the most important festivities in Catalonia and is celebrated in honor of Sanr Jordi, who according to legend, killed the dragon to save the princess and free his people from fear and oppression.
Tradition indicates that men give a rose to women and women a book to men, although this custom has evolved and currently, both men and women give both books and roses to their loved ones.
