MACCA, Cassà de la Selva Animation and Short Film Exhibition
The MACCA ( Cassà de la Selva Animation and Short Film Exhibition) has been organized by the Cineclub Vuitimig since 2000. Its programming is based on short films, whether video clips or children's films, difficult to find in commercial circuits.
But the MACCA is not only looking for spectators, it is especially looking for audiovisual creators: the participants of the school animation workshops and those of Correcurts, one of its most recognized events, are a good example of this.
It arises from a popular, didactic and multidisciplinary vocation, and has the objective of bringing cinema and the world of short films closer to everyone through screenings, workshops, competitions and exhibitions.
