Proto-fest, Tortosa Music Festival
A new edition of the Proto-fest Tortosa is coming!
As in recent editions, the Festival will take music to various points in the historic center of the city, and will focus on the recovery of historical-musical heritage through the discovery and performance of unpublished or little-known works by women and composers from the territory.
Since its first edition, Proto-fest has also focused on training. Thus, the general program of festival activities includes masterclasses in bandoneon, violin, viola, cello, chamber music, singing and orchestral performance.
The Proto-fest is organized by the Tortosa Music Festival Association, a non-profit entity headed by soprano Cecília Aymí and violist David Matheu, co-directors of the festival.
