Popular walk and run in Lliçà d'Amunt

This year, the walk-run will once again be held in the city center and will maintain the Municipal Sports Pavilion as the starting and finishing point.

The popular walk-run "Camins i senders de Lliçà d'Amunt. Walk and run", will be held on Saturday, May 16, starting at 9 a.m. The route will pass through the urban center, Pineda Feu and the border of Ca l'Artigues, starting and ending at the Municipal Sports Pavilion.

This non-competitive activity aims to promote physical activity as a tool for health and well-being, combat sedentary lifestyles, and showcase the municipality's natural environment. It is designed for all ages: runners, seniors, families, and anyone who wants to enjoy a day of sport.

As in previous editions, there will be two circular routes adapted to different levels:

• Short route: 5.3 km and 123 meters of elevation gain. It is an easy and accessible route, especially suitable for families and older people, with a low level of difficulty and suitable for most participants.
• Long route: 11 km and 272 meters of elevation gain. It is aimed at people with a medium-high level of fitness, accustomed to practicing sports and prepared to face a more demanding route, both due to the elevation gain and the characteristics of the terrain.

Both routes can be completed on foot or by running. Please note that they are not accessible to strollers or wheelchairs.

The price of the activity is €5 for those over 16 years of age, and includes participation in the walk/run, insurance, refreshments, and a sausage barbecue with drinks at the finish. Participation is free for those under 16, but registration is required, and they must be accompanied by an adult.

Registration must be completed through the municipal website and the deadline is May 12th. Registration will also be available on the day of the activity, from 8:00 to 8:30 a.m., at the starting area, coinciding with accreditation. A guided warm-up will be held before the activity begins, from 8:35 to 8:50 a.m.
