Cubelles' small main festival

The Little Festival of Cubelles is always celebrated around July 30, the day of Sant Abdó and Sant Senén, co-patrons of the town of Cubelles.

Giants, music and street parades will take to the streets of the municipality in a day designed to thrill young and old alike and to remind us of the strength of a tradition that is still alive.

The program also features a prominent role for fire. Groups will gather around the correfoc ( fire run), which will fill the streets with light, rhythm, and intensity until the final lighting ceremony. The music will continue afterward with concerts and a festive atmosphere in the Plaça del Mercat.

The Fiesta Mayor Petita will also explore other areas of culture. There will be exhibitions, literary presentations, jazz, habaneras, sardanas, and activities related to natural heritage, such as a guided tour of the Espai Natural del Foix. The program will be rounded out with workshops, children's activities, human towers (castells), a solemn mass, and events designed for families to enjoy.

Cubelles will thus experience a few days of festivities with very diverse ingredients, but with the same common thread: sharing public space and celebrating what identifies the municipality.
