Today is World Science Day for Peace and Development! This day was born with the intention of renewing the commitment of science as a promoter of peace and development. Some examples are the eradication of poverty or human security.

In addition, this day, and all the parallel activities that are organized to commemorate it, serve to demonstrate why science is relevant to our daily lives.
