Sant Feliu Sasserra celebrates the National Day of Catalonia with the participation of the Sant Feliu Sasserra Choir!
As elsewhere in Catalonia, National Day of Catalonia in Sant Feliu Sasserra commemorates the events of September 11, 1714, when Bourbon forces took Barcelona and ended the War of the Spanish Succession, resulting in the loss of autonomy and the abolition of Catalan institutions.
On the occasion of that day, various institutional events and demonstrations are organized and, in addition, it is a holiday throughout Catalonia.
