National Day of Catalonia in Creixell

Creixell celebrates Catalonia's National Day on September 11th!

The celebration will maintain its more solemn aspect with an official ceremony, which will kick off the National Day activities. From then on, the program will take on a more relaxed character with various opportunities to meet and participate in and enjoy the festive atmosphere.

Gastronomy will also have its place with a popular menu designed to bring locals and visitors together around the table. It's an opportunity to pause, chat, and continue enjoying the day in a pleasant and welcoming environment.

Traditional Catalan culture will round out the program with copla music and sardana dances. Squares and spaces in the city center will be transformed into stages to keep alive some of the most representative expressions of Catalan festive heritage, open both to those who wish to participate and to those who simply want to enjoy the atmosphere.

National Day in Creixell thus combines the commemorative nature of the Onze de Setembre with popular activities that encourage people to go out into the streets and share the celebration.
