Like every year at this time, Canillo becomes the scene of the birth of Jesus with a spectacular manger made up of more than two hundred life-size figures distributed in thirty scenes.

Some of the emblematic points of the facility are Paseo Carlemany and the old town, with the Plaza de Sant Cerni at the top next to the church, or the flour mill on Calle Mayor. The birth scene is located in the church of Santa Creu, next to the old royal road of Prats.

In the assembly, which this year has several new features, there is no shortage of figures of HM the Three Wise Men of the East, the shepherds taking care of the flocks or the peasants surrounded by utensils and draft and farm animals. You can also find, as in any manger worthy of its name, the figure of the discreetly camouflaged caganer.
