Meeting of lace makers in Conesa
Conesa will be filled with tradition and puntaires in a new edition of the Puntaires Meeting!
The meeting is a traditional celebration that highlights the art and skill of lace makers, people who create knitted fabrics with needles and thread. The streets of the old town of the municipality host the stops of lace makers who demonstrate their skill with the laces on the pillow.
Lacemakers work with great skill and detail to create complex patterns and designs. The meeting promotes the participation of its inhabitants and keeps alive an artisan tradition that has been important in Catalonia for many years.
