Sidamon Summer Festival

The Sidamon Summer Festival is in honor of Sant Bartomeu, and features various activities for all tastes and ages.

Originally, they had local festivals in honor of the patron saints of the villages, when the farmers had finished most of the field work and the villages organized a few days of "celebration" to be able to share good times with friends and family who, sometimes, came from other neighboring or distant villages.

These were times for sharing, spending time together, resting, and regaining strength —not only physical strength but also emotional strength. And year after year, the City Council works to make these intentions a reality.

During these days, the municipality will leave behind its usual rhythm to give way to a celebration marked by reunions, popular culture and the desire to enjoy the summer.

Young and old alike will find their place within a celebration that highlights the participation and festive character of the town.

Popular culture will play a special role in the festival atmosphere. This year's image, featuring a festive figure surrounded by fire and sparks, foreshadows a few days in which tradition, spectacle, and energy will once again fill the streets of Sidamon.

Throughout the Fiesta Mayor, there will also be moments to enjoy the festivities at a more relaxed pace, reconnect with people who live elsewhere during the year, and share conversations and moments that are part of the essence of this time of year. When night falls, the festive atmosphere will continue with events that will encourage people to extend their days and make the most of the August evenings.

Sidamon will become a meeting point to experience the festival intensely, recover traditions and create new memories.
