Ràpita Summer Festival - Santa Margarida i els Monjos

Santa Margarida i els Monjos celebrates a new edition of the Ràpita Summer Festival!

The festival is celebrated every year around the first weekend of August in honor of Sant Domènec de Guzmán.

The celebration will kick off with the traditional Rapitenc firework display and the opening proclamation of the Fiesta Mayor, officially launching several days designed for sharing and experiencing the town to the fullest. Throughout the week, the program will combine concerts, sporting activities, communal dinners, fireworks, traditional dances, and events for all ages.

Popular culture will play a prominent role, with the solemn service in honor of Sant Domènec, the religious play, the elaborate dances, the parade, and the participation of folk dances and the Dance of the Devils of La Rápita. These events keep alive the most traditional and defining character of the festival.

There will also be space for families, with children's activities, a foam party and leisure options, as well as concerts and musical sessions to extend the summer nights.

The festivities will culminate with the grand closing dance of the Fiesta Mayor, the traditional members' waltz and the final firework display, bringing to a close a few days of reunion, music and shared celebration.
