Major Festival of l'Espluga de Francolí

The Fiesta Mayor of l'Espluga de Francolí is already gearing up, with a program full of activities for all ages!

For several days, the municipality will once again fill streets and squares with a festive program that will combine popular culture, live music, family activities and meeting spaces.

Music will play a prominent role in this year's festival, with performances to suit diverse tastes: cover bands, orchestras, DJs, local groups, and traditional acts. The festivities will kick off with some of the most emblematic events, such as the raising and planting of the Xop ( a traditional Valencian sculpture), which will then lead into the first musical performances in the Plaça de la Vila (Town Square).

Throughout the weekend, various venues in the municipality will host concerts, dances, and festive events. The Church Square, Montserrat Canals Square, and the Francolins Garden will be some of the main locations for a program that features both established groups and artists and bands with ties to the area.

The Fiesta Mayor will also maintain traditional events such as habaneras, sardanas, and the Concert-Vermut Solidari, which this year will have a charitable component in favor of Cáritas Parroquial de l'Espluga. This spirit of solidarity will also be present at other times throughout the program.

Families will find activities specially designed for children, including shows and events throughout the weekend. The celebration will conclude on Monday, Corps Day, with a concert in the Francolins Garden.

A major festival to experience summer, reconnect with the neighborhood and enjoy culture, music and tradition in a popular and participatory atmosphere.
