Santa Maria d'Oló Main Festival

If you love traditional festivals, you can't miss the Santa Maria d'Oló Festival! This annual celebration is a unique opportunity to enjoy the culture and traditions of this charming town in the Moianès region.

The program will begin with the opening proclamation of the Fiesta Mayor, accompanied by the Bastoners de Oló, and will continue with live music. During the following days there will be games such as the greasy pole climb, dances, parades, sports activities, and events designed especially for children.

Popular culture will play a prominent role. The ringing of bells, the gathering of giants, the sardana dances, and the solemn mass will keep some of the most deeply rooted traditions alive. There will also be room for unique activities such as the descent of odds and ends and various championships and competitions.

Music will liven up much of the afternoon and evening, with concerts, dances, DJ sets, and performances of various styles. Theater will also be part of the program, as will Estiufest, an afternoon of family shows and music with a bar and food trucks.

Sports will round out the offerings with padel, football, clay pigeon shooting, and a popular bike ride with different routes. And to recharge, there will be plenty of food gatherings, vermouth, and a traditional paella.

The town's main festival will conclude with a day combining traditional games, food, and folk music. A few days to take to the streets, participate in the activities, and enjoy Santa Maria de Oló in its festive atmosphere.
