The Living Nativity Scene of Món Sant Benet is back for another year!

The Living Nativity Scene of Món Sant Benet is the only Nativity scene in all of Catalonia that takes place inside a medieval monastery.

On these very special and magical dates, the Living Nativity Scene of Món Sant Benet allows us to travel back in time to the Middle Ages and experience, through the different scenes, a very special Christmas.

This is a unique show which, in addition to the uniqueness of the space and the beauty of the scenes magnificently represented by the actors, with costumes and elements of the period, will surprise us with its spectacular large-format audiovisual effects.

The different corners of the monastery are transformed to host the recreation of the traditional scenes of a Living Nativity scene, but also other less typical scenes that are representative of a monastery and a medieval village, such as the representation of ancient trades. And, those who wish, at the end of the tour, can stay to dance medieval dances in the Garden of the Absis in an open and participatory workshop.

The direction of the actors is, once again, in the hands of the actress and theatre director Tàtels Pérez, with the support of Sara Manzano for the production. The Living Nativity Scene is the result of the collaboration of many volunteer actors and actresses from the area, who each year contribute their grain of sand to shape a magical activity.
