Living Nativity Scene of the Pont Llarg in Manresa

Manresa (Pont Llarg)

The Living Nativity Scene of the Pont Llarg, in the Poal area of Manresa, combines magic and spectacle to perfection.

We must look for its origin in the living manger that was made in the basement of the Parish of Our Lady of Hope and that, 10 years ago, spread and opened in the city, locating it under the Pont Llarg Aqueduct, at the end of Avenida Universitaria, entering the irrigated lands of Manresa.

Currently, it has a circular route and is held in the incomparable setting of the Pont Llarg Aqueduct from the 16th century. XVII, unique protected monument in Catalonia and still in operation.

The representations are also made in the eras of the first peasant houses on the irrigated lands of Poal, on the banks of the Camino de Joncadella, at the end of Avenida Universitaria. It is a place that, every December 26, is transformed into a Galilean town from more than 2,000 years ago, with the participation and effort of more than 300 people and the presence of a large group of animals of all kinds that accompany to the extras in the different scenes.

Don't miss this classic Bages performance!
