The Cassà de la Selva City Council once again announces, once again, the Cassà Literary Awards, one of the oldest awards in the country!
The Cassà de la Selva Literary Awards are the oldest in the Girona regions. Its origin dates back to the first Cultural Week in 1967 in which the Colla Excursionista organized conferences, talks, forums...
At that time, the bases of the first Cassà de la Selva literary and essay contest were presented, an initiative that grew in an environment of search for political freedom and with the desire to promote Catalan popular culture.
