International Teatre Màgic Festival in Tarragona

Once again this year, the International Magic Theatre Festival will fill Tarragona with magical shows that will delight audiences!

Twelve illusionists from France, Italy, Argentina, Madrid and Catalonia will surprise the Tarragona public from April 5 to 26.

For the nineteenth consecutive year, Tarragona will become the epicenter of the magic world during the month of April, hosting a selection of cutting-edge illusion shows. The festival's artistic direction is led by Tarragona-born artist Mag Gerard, with a long and recognized career in this field.

The International Magic Theatre Festival, supported by Tarragona City Council, has established itself as an unmissable event, with the annual participation of prestigious artists and award-winners both nationally and internationally.

The opening ceremony will take place on Saturday, April 5th at 6:00 p.m. at the Tarragona Theater, with the show "Magic to Leave You Mouth-Open." Performing there will be magician Amèlie, Tony Montana (World Magic Award winner), Willy Monroe, and Magician Gerard. This is a program open to all audiences, inviting you to take a fascinating journey through various disciplines of the illusory arts.

As a new feature for this edition, all of the city's Civic Centers will offer free magic shows and workshops during Holy Week, featuring artists such as the Italian Novas, the Frenchman Jean Phy, the Emocion-a-dos company, and Daniel Arbonés, among others.

Over the next few weeks, magic will also be coming to the Tarragona Public Library with the Circonfuso Company, and to the Kesse Space, where you can enjoy a master class in tricks and a magic cabaret by Gonza Martini.

In addition, the festival will include two charity magic shows at the Teatret del Serrallo, benefiting Manos Unidas de Tarragona and Todos en Azul. They will take place on the afternoon of April 26th, with the aim of bringing the magic to everyone.
