International Teatre Màgic Festival in Tarragona

Once again, the Teatre Màgic International Festival will fill Tarragona with magical shows that will delight audiences.

The Magic Theatre Festival celebrates two decades of magic in Tarragona with the participation of renowned international illusionists. The popular Inés la Maga will perform at the Teatre Tarragona on April 4th as part of her show, "Magic to Leave You Speechless."

For the twentieth consecutive year, Tarragona will become the stage for some of the most renowned magicians of the moment, who will fill the city with wonder and fantasy through a program of innovative illusion. Artistic direction is once again in the hands of Tarragona native Mag Gerard, with a well-established career in the world of magic.

The International Magic Theatre Festival, promoted with the support of the Tarragona City Council, has established itself as a benchmark on a European scale thanks to a loyal audience that year after year enjoys a quality proposal that merges magic, theatre and paratheatrical arts, such as shadow puppetry or the manipulation of soap bubbles.

The festival will kick off on March 30th at the Sant Salvador Civic Center and will extend to various civic centers throughout the city, with workshops in the morning and performances in the afternoon featuring artists such as Leo Bordigoni, Koko, Circonfuso, and the award-winning Gonza Martini, among others. In addition, following their artistic residency at the Sant Pere i Sant Pau Civic Center, actors Pep Linares and José Gallardo will premiere their comedy magic show, Anselm & Jar 2.0.

One of the highlights of this year's festival will be the family show "Magic to Leave You Speechless," featuring Inés the Magician—considered one of the best magicians on the scene today— accompanied by Sasha Grilec, Connie, and Mag Gerard. The performance will take place on April 4th at 6 pm at the Teatre Tarragona and will offer a fascinating journey through various disciplines of illusion.

In the following weeks, the magic will also reach other spaces in the city, such as the Centre Cultural Antic Ajuntament, with a charity show to benefit Aspercamp; the Tarragona Public Library, with the surprising proposals of Óscar Sánchez; and the Espai Kesse, which will host a master class and a magic cabaret by Gneis.

From March 30 to April 25, Tarragona will experience a spring full of excitement, magic and shows for all audiences.
