International Lyric Singing Competition 'Germans Pla' City of Balaguer
The International Lyric Singing Competition 'Germans Pla' City of Balaguer is a biennial competition, which is held every two years.
The Balaguer Art4 Group Cultural Association organizes this new edition. The main objectives of this contest are to discover new voices, support promising young people, and publicize the lyrical singing and work of the Pla brothers (Josep, Joan Baptista and Manuel), 18th century musicians with Balaguer roots.
The first edition was held in 2002 and the contest wants to give visibility to lyrical singing and its young promises.
So, if you are an opera lover or simply appreciate the emerging talent in the world of lyrical singing, you cannot miss this contest. Do not miss!
