'Nits Daurades' in Salou
Around mid-August, the Salou City Council organizes the 'Nits Daurades', a festivity that coincides with the peak of the tourist season and the biggest event celebrates the day of Santa Maria del Mar, patron saint of Salou, the August 15, closing day, which closes with the procession of the Virgin, in which the Fishermen's Society of Santa Maria del Mar de Salou participates, culminating with a spectacular fireworks display.
This festive program is characterized by bringing together a great diversity of events of different kinds, from the celebration of concerts, dances, cultural events and other shows.
The purpose of this program is for both the local population and visitors to the municipality on these dates to interact with each other and feel part of Salou's popular culture.
