'Fira dels Somnis' by Balaguer

The 'Fira dels Somnis' (Dream Fair) in Balaguer is a charity event whose goal is to turn the dreams of curing childhood cancer into reality. This community project culminates in a day full of festive, recreational, and sporting activities on the first Sunday of May.

Among the main events is the Race of Dreams, the largest popular walk in the Lands of Westeros, which fills the streets of Balaguer with solidarity. The 'Fira dels Somnis' (Dream Fair) features stalls from various organizations and activities for all ages, while the Forest of Dreams hosts workshops and educational exhibits. There are also awareness-raising spaces, such as the Banners of Generosity and the Cultural and Educational Panels, which convey messages of support and raise awareness.

The 'Fira dels Somnis' for childhood cancer, under the motto "Investigació d'avui, salut per demà", allocates all the funds raised throughout the year (60,890 euros in 2025) to research into therapeutic targets against this disease, through the research teams of the VHIR of the Vall d'Hebron Hospital in Barcelona.
