Amposta's Main Festival

Amposta comes alive with life, celebration and revelry during the Fiestas Mayores!

The city once again celebrates its main festivities with their own unique character, rooted in tradition and open to new proposals.

The program is extensive and varied. You'll find popular culture, shows, sports, family events, food festivals, and street activities. Some of the city's most iconic events will also play a significant role, such as the Band Concert, the National Paper Costume Competition, and initiatives promoted by local organizations.

Music will be a key feature of the afternoons and evenings. Concerts, dances, and orchestras of different styles will provide the soundtrack to the celebration, with performances designed to appeal to diverse audiences.

Children and young people will also have their own dedicated spaces. Family activities, water inflatables, and the new attractions in the Youth Zone will allow you to experience the festival in many different ways. You can also participate in guided tours to discover Amposta and Poble Nou from a different perspective, or share a meal at one of the scheduled community lunches.

More than a succession of events, the Fiestas Mayores are an expression of Amposta's way of being: an open, participatory city proud of its traditions.

Go out into the street, choose the activities you like best and let yourself be swept away by ten days of celebration, culture and shared joy.
