Festival of the Three Tombs of Sant Antoni in Tàrrega

From 25/01/2025 to 26/01/2025
Tàrrega

The Festival of the Three Tombs of Tàrrega begins the day before with the arrival of the town crier, who walks through the streets of the city centre accompanied by Lo Tossino and the Tossinaries. The festive atmosphere is evident with the sound of jackdaws and tabals, which announce both the celebration and the popular Caga-Garrí competition.

The main day, which is celebrated on the last Sunday in January, begins with a traditional lunch and a craft market in the Plaza del Carmen. There is also a parade to welcome the flag bearer of the year, who will lead the procession of the Three Tombs.

The procession is blessed at midday in the Plaza de Sant Antoni, from where they head towards the Plaza del Carmen, where attendees can enjoy the traditional parades with carriages, saddles, floats and figures from popular culture such as La Fal·lera Gegantera, the Nans, Lo Tossino and the Cavallets de Guixanet.

The festival also features the participation of schools and organisations, which present high-quality artistic creations.
