Llofriu Cork Stripping Festival in Palafrugell
The Llofriu Cork Peeling Festival, in Palafrugell, takes place in June with a wide and varied program of activities that take up the whole day.
The festival is a leisure and dissemination proposal that has its starting point in a traditional activity, little known, and rooted in the territory such as the cork shell. The central activity is the demonstration of how the cork shell is made, which takes place throughout the day in a cork oak forest near the center of Llofriu.
Experience the cork shell and enjoy a theme breakfast, a cultural visit to the Suro Museum and a DO Empordà wine tasting.
