Amposta celebrates the San Juan festival once again!

During the San Juan festival, the streets, beaches, and squares of Amposta come alive with joy. The celebration blends pagan and religious elements and is characterized by a series of events that welcome the arrival of summer.

The festival will begin with a festive parade by traditional music groups and fire crews, who will fill the streets with rhythm and popular atmosphere until the central space of the celebration.

One of the most symbolic moments will be the arrival of the Flame of Canigó, a symbol of brotherhood, culture, and identity. Its arrival will mark the lighting of the first bonfire, ushering in a festival characterized by light, tradition, and community spirit.

In addition, an exhibition dedicated to the bonfires of San Juan will allow visitors to remember and celebrate this deeply rooted tradition in the municipality.
