Súria's Main Festival

Once again, the program for the Fiesta Mayor de Súria invites everyone to participate and enjoy this very special time of celebration and reunion.

The main festival of Súria is celebrated around July 10th, the feast day of Saint Christopher, one of the town's patron saints. The central day of the festival is the Sunday on or after that date.

The Súria Festival is a 21st-century celebration that strives to preserve the same spirit with which our ancestors experienced it. The festival is the link that connects us from the present to the values of the past and prepares us for a future that we hope will be more inclusive, just, and compassionate.

The program will offer activities for all ages and will combine deeply rooted traditions with fun and festive events. Popular culture will play a prominent role with parades, fireworks displays, blunderbusses, gralla players, marching bands, and other events organized by local groups.

Music will be a major highlight. During the evening festivities, there will be concerts, dances with live orchestras, and DJ sets offering a diverse repertoire and musical style. Habaneras, sardanas, and afternoon performances will round out a musical program designed for audiences of all ages.

Families will find games, water inflatables, refreshing activities, and a foam party. Young people will also have access to sports and leisure activities, while sports enthusiasts can participate in competitions, bike rides, walks, and other popular events.

An open and participatory Fiesta Mayor to go out into the streets, reconnect with the neighborhood and share a few days full of music, tradition and community spirit.

*The fireworks display for the Fiesta Mayor, scheduled for Monday, July 13 at 11:00 p.m., has been cancelled due to the unfavorable situation caused by the heat wave and the high risk of forest fires.
