Palau de Rialb Festival in La Baronia de Rialb
Once again, the Festival arrives at Palau de Rialb, which is celebrated on August 15, coinciding with the festival of the Mare de Déu.
The program begins at one in the afternoon with mass in the Romanesque church of Santa Maria de Palau, named a Cultural Asset of Local Interest. It will be a good opportunity to enjoy this jewel of the first Catalan Romanesque from the 11th century, and the paintings from the 11th and 16th centuries that are found in the apse of the medieval temple. During the mass there will also be the traditional procession of the Mare de Déu around the church.
The acts will resume from seven in the evening with a dance session in the afternoon. One of the most anticipated moments of the Palau de Rialb festival ball is the moment of the raffle, as always with numerous prizes.
