Fem Net, popular washing in the village's laundries

One more year, Fem Net is coming to Guissona! The popular laundry festival in the town's laundries, an event full of tradition and conviviality.

As every year, the inhabitants gather to recreate this ancient practice, something that for centuries was essential in daily life.

The wash houses, located in the heart of the village, are full of activity. A group of Guisoneses relive the brick conversations that took place in the time of our mothers and grandmothers. The elders tell anecdotes while the young girls learn the old techniques. Traditional songs and laughter fill the air, creating an atmosphere of brotherhood and nostalgia.

The day continues with a popular snack, where everyone shares traditional dishes such as bread with oil and chocolate and enjoys good conversation.

Finally, we say goodbye to the day with a live music show, where you can also enjoy traditional Catalan dance.
