Christmas time is approaching and the Documentation Center and Textile Museum of Terrassa invites children and families to make with their hands a woven decoration in the form of a tapestry. We will use simple looms and various materials such as recycled "rag", wool, various threads, ribbons, etc. It is an activity where the little ones will be able to freely combine colors, textures and shapes... it just takes a little concentration and some time of family work.

To involve children in the reuse of textile materials, each family must bring a ball of cloth made from an old t-shirt, preferably in white, red, green or blue. To cut out the t-shirt and obtain the ball, you can follow the following instructions, although there are videos on the Internet that are very easy to follow. This material will be shared among all participants in the workshop.
